We are a non-profit organization whose goal is to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome, provide information and support to families and professionals, and to promote awareness and acceptance of individuals with Down syndrome in our communities.
Our group meets monthly, usually on the last Tuesday of the month, at 7 PM at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside. We discuss new information, host guest speakers and educate ourselves as we assist our children in meeting their potential.
There are more opportunities than ever before for individuals with Down syndrome. Today, individuals with Down syndrome are living independently, graduating high school, attaining employment in the community, and attending classes at local colleges.
